LMSR UK joins Cancer52

 

We’re pleased to share that Leiomyosarcoma Research UK is now a member of Cancer52. Cancer52 works to improve diagnosis, treatment and support for everyone affected by rare and less common cancers, so that people with these cancers can have similar expectations and outcomes. 

 

As a rare and aggressive cancer, leiomyosarcoma can face challenges that are common across rare cancers, including delayed diagnosis, fewer tailored treatment options, and unequal access to specialist support. Becoming part of Cancer52 connects LMSR UK into a network focused on addressing these issues through shared learning, collaboration, and a stronger collective voice for change. 

 

We are looking forward to working alongside other member organisations and contributing to shared priorities, while keeping the experiences of people affected by leiomyosarcoma at the centre of our work.
