As we move further into 2025, we’re proud to reflect on the progress we made last year. In 2024, we launched LMS Research UK and hosted our first LMS Pathfinder workshop, bringing together nearly 40 specialists from leading UK institutions. The workshop identified key barriers to LMS research and laid the foundation for a UK-wide collaborative network.

 

One of the key outcomes was a plan to develop a UK-wide uLMS prospective study, inspired by the ICONIC initiative, to address challenges in diagnosis, treatment, and research. This year, we’re forming a project working group to take this forward, with a follow-up stakeholder meeting planned for 9th April 2025.
