Your Help Makes a Difference
Your help means we can achieve our goals of:
- Improving awareness of Leiomyosarcoma
- Driving the search for improved treatments and better standards of care
- Finding answers through stimulating, promoting, and supporting Leiomyosarcoma research
- Providing information and support for those affected by Leiomyosarcoma
Our charity receives no government funding and is run entirely by volunteers. Our donors and fundraisers support all our activities. We appreciate any contribution you feel you can make – however large or small.

You should seek our permission before our name, logo or other related trademarks are used, for example, to support fundraising events or related activities.

Our magnificent fundraisers have run bake sales, swum their first ever length, organised parties and quizzes, and that is just in our first 18 months. We can support you with ribbons, banners, vests and other promotional materials.

Whether you’re interested in fundraising, communications, office admin or events, or even coordinating or managing local collections, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved with Leiomyosarcoma Research UK.
You can support us in a very direct way by helping as a volunteer and you can also add new skills or experiences to your CV.
As a team of volunteers, our communications, fundraising events and projects always need ‘hands on deck’ to make everything run smoothly.

If you are thinking of leaving us a gift in your Will (sometimes called a legacy) we are happy to help and can provide the details you or your solicitor will need.
The donation can be as small or large as you like – every gift makes a big difference.
As we are a registered charity, your donation will qualify for relief from UK Inheritance Tax.
