Leiomyosarcoma remains poorly recognised both within the UK and internationally, among the general public and healthcare professionals. We are therefore in the early stages of developing a national awareness campaign focused on leiomyosarcoma and its subtypes.
The campaign will actively involve patients, including sharing individual case studies to support learning, build understanding, and increase overall awareness of the disease among key stakeholder groups.
